French label IRO is one of the hottest contemporary labels around the globe and its latest fall-winter collection features its signature rock chic vibe in every garment. The cool, contemporary outwear designs include warm motorcycle jackets, fitted pants, cropped sweaters, patent leggins, plaid shirts and little black party dresses. I love the ultra-cool, edgy and yet unpretentious, relaxed style of the brand. It’s totally mine.
These boots are gorgeous ! They come in different colors and are my personal must have for this season: trendy and easy for day and night. The white pair is my absolute favorite.
For its latest spring 2014 collection, French label Pierre Balmain found inspiration in the rebellious punk spirit of the seventies mixed up with rock’n roll essentials. The standout looks include lots of leather, sexy dresses, fishnet stockings and lace. The collection exudes a cool downtown chic – sexy and daring at once …
I love the look book photos from Isabel Marant’s Cruise 2014 collection shot in the middle of what looks like a set in construction. With workers walking by, old ladders, buckets as well as some beautiful design chairs in the background, the stunning collection still stands in the center of it all and Marant shows once again her unique talent to create a cool, effortless and yet refined style !
The Resort 2014 Collection by MARY KATRANTZOU blew my mind. The breathtaking collection is like a piece of art – full of color, prints and patterns with a poetic and surreal feel to it. Even though I personally prefer a more “quiet” style, I still was blown away by this vivid and frenzy collection and I appreciate Katranzou’s artistic approach, her vision and the masterful realization of it. Along with her own photographs from her travels around the world, the Greek designer who is based in London, used hyper-colored florals and impossible postcard-like landscapes on rather clean shapes… I would say it’s the designer’s most impressive collection ever !
