Acclaimed fashion photographer Nick Knight is known for his edgy images and innovative techniques.  In 1993 he started a project called FLORA where he spent over three years collecting and sorting through 60 million specimen in the Natural Hirstory Museum to only select 45 of them to photograph and then to manipulate them with heat and water during the development proess. This unique technique blurs the lines between photography and painting. I find it quite fascinating and hauntingly beautiful!
